According to April 2026 data, there are *558+ engineer jobs* open just in NEOM and its sub-projects *The Line, Oxagon, Trojena, and Sindalah*. And this is only the beginning. By 2030, NEOM will need *120,000 engineers*.
If you are a Pakistani or Indian engineer and your current salary is between 2 lakh to 5 lakh PKR, this post can change your life. Why? Because in NEOM, a *junior engineer’s salary starts at 8,000 SAR* and a *senior PMP manager earns up to 45,000 SAR*. That means 6 lakh to 34 lakh PKR per month.

NEOM is not a normal city. It’s being built across *26,500 sq km* in Saudi Arabia’s Tabuk province. To understand the size: it’s bigger than the entire country of Belgium.

*Why are they paying so much?* Because Vision 2030 has a deadline. Crown Prince MBS has said 80% of NEOM must be completed by 2030. So they are hiring the best global talent by offering double or triple salaries. Plus the location is remote, so they also give a “hardship allowance”.

*What Do These Allowances Mean?*
1. *Free Housing:* NEOM has its own camps. AC rooms, gym, mess — all free. A 1BHK in Riyadh costs 3,000 SAR. You save that.
2. *Free Transport:* Bus from site to camp. Airport pickup and drop.
3. *Yearly Ticket:* Company pays for your return ticket to Pakistan. If you have family status, they pay for 4 tickets.
4. *30 Leaves + Eid Holidays:* You get 45 days off per year.
5. *Medical Insurance:* Full Bupa coverage. You won’t spend 1 SAR.
*In-hand Saving:* If your salary is 22,000 SAR, you can easily save 20,000 SAR. Because there are almost no expenses. *That means 15 Lakh PKR savings per month.*
*Section 4: Eligibility for Pakistani Engineers - 400 words*
*1. Degree:* BE/BSc Engineering required. 16 years education. Diploma holders are not accepted. *Must be PEC recognized.*
*2. Experience:* Officially they ask for 5 years. But if you worked on *NESPAK, Descon, FWO, NLC* or *Aramco projects* in Pakistan, 3 years is also accepted. Mention the project names in your CV.
*3. SCE License - Most Important:* Saudi Council of Engineers license. Without this, you won’t get a work visa.
*Step 1:* Get your degree verified by PEC. *Step 2:* Attest it from Saudi Culture + Saudi Embassy. *Step 3:* Create an account on SCE’s website. *Step 4:* Pay 500 SAR and take the exam. *Step 5:* After passing, you get “Professional Grade”.
*Time:* 2-3 months. *Cost:* Around 80,000 PKR total. But it’s one-time. It will help you for life.
*4. Certifications That Increase Salary:*
- *PMP:* 35 contact hours + exam. Costs 2 lakh PKR. But increases salary by 5,000 SAR. You recover the cost in 3 months.
- *FIDIC:* For contract engineers. Qiddiya and The Line all run on FIDIC.
- *BIM/Revit:* Now mandatory for Civil/Architect roles.
- *AWS/Azure/Python:* Essential for AI/Cloud jobs. NEOM is a “Cognitive City”, so cloud engineer demand is highest.
*5. Age:* 25 to 50. Best age is 32-42. Not too junior, not too senior.
